TV Time
This bullcrap reminded me that with the approaching TV season, I have the opportunity to do recaps again! But since Jack Bauer and the Convenient Plot Device of the Ghost of Tony Almeda is not back until January, I need to figure out what show to write about. Or should I do recaps at all? I leave this in the hands of our few but loyal readers.

What show(s) should Karen recap this season?
1. America’s Next Top Model, because Karen has way more material to work with there.
2. Grey’s Anatomy, because it’s funny to read “Why is (fill in the blank) such an idiot/slut??” at least twice in every recap
3. Bones, because… I dunno. I like that show. Shut up.
4. CSI, because since I don’t live with Karen, I never get to hear her yell “THAT IS SO AGAINST STANDARD EVIDENCE PROCEDURE!”
5. One of the new shows, like Bionic Woman or Chuck or Women’s Murder Club. I like taking chances!
6. The Biggest Loser, because Karen cries after every episode and I wonder how she will type out the bluuurghhhhsnniff noises she makes.
7. This other show I like, called __________
8. None, just wait for 24 so that I (Fitz) can have a few months to work on my “I TOLD YOU TONY IS ALIVE” comments.
9. None, because your recaps are stupid and so is your face.

Josh, good call on Heroes. K, think you can add enough snark to that show recap?
Friday Night Lights would be another show with plenty of ammunition, but I don’t think anyone but us watches it… same with Bones, House, etc. No to Grey’s and Top Model, because I don’t watch those shows cause they’re dumb. CSI recaps might be ok, but I have a feeling they would start to feel like the same recap…since CSI is starting to feel like the same episode repeated.

OK, so I downloaded a bunch of the free pilots available to TiVo (via Amazon Unbox) to check them out: my reviews:
Chuck - biggest surprise. Funny, fun, + extra bonus of a hot chick. I plan to subscribe (TiVo) to this show.
Bionic Woman - Meh. It was OK. Per (my ambiguous) standard, will get one more chance. Might not be worthwhile (though there are awesome cameos from other BSG folks that make watching the pilot worthwhile).
Big Bang Theory - total drivel (like most sticoms, IMHO). Don’t even bother watching ads for this show.
Time travel show (P-something, I don’t remember) - also surprisingly engaging. Worth watching at least the pilot.
My vote is for Chuck.

ANTM because there is so much snark to go around. One word: Spontaniouse. Four more: Girl with a hump. And those describe two different people!

See, I’m tempted to do ANTM because, as Jamsky says, there is SO MUCH snark to go around. Also, it kind of balances the more masculine nature of 24.
I’m worried the only thing I could comment on with Heroes is Milo VegetableLasagna’s Isoceles Triangle of a Mouth. Seriously, is his jaw wired shut on one side?

ANTM! Pretty please? You could completely ignore the girls and have enough material with Tyra alone.
Heroes is too boring to comment on, especially without Sylar.

I think you should recap America’s Next Top Model because I miss your fashion commentary and I miss you too (although Erik is the greatest, I do have to admit!) so can you please do America’s Next Top Model? I think a om’s vote should count double too.

1. I’m alive.
2. I’m a horrible friend as I’ve not commented on this page in quite some time.
3. I will try to play on the internet more at work from now on.
4. I don’t watch any of these shows, so I will not vote for them. All I watch anymore are the Indians, college football and the occassional on demand of Entourage.

Here are my top 3 choices for Karen to watch and then blog on.
1. Shark on CBS so I don’t have to watch it.
2. Ghost Hunters, to see if Karen gets scared and all freaked out!
3. Semi Home-Made with Sandra Lee, I want Karen to try out the recepies on Erik!

i like leechees semi homemade idea, and ANTM, because it is so damn terrible, i cannot turn awway. Heros reminds me too much of someone i cant stand, so dont do that one.

I’M SOLD!!! I was just watching an old ANTM on MTV this afternoon, and that show is freakin’ HORRIBLE!! I’d love to have Karen do a wrap up. What channel and when does the new season start! Seriously, it’s like watching the worst car accident ever, and I just help but watch.
